I want to talk about surfing for a while - have to say I have never actually tried it in SL, but as a child it was a big part of my life. We moved from Sydney to London when I was about 8. I think I picked on surfing to be the reason to be the most annoying child in the world, even though it wasn't something I had really done that much about. I read about it, found videos of it, dreamed of it. Just to punish my parents for taking me away from it. Nice kid.

Cafe Chic. Leather and chocolate. Fashion in Italy.
Leather smells like dark chocolate tobacco in my head. It's something that changes texture and timbre as it ages and I have to say that it's something I can't get enough of if it's done stylishly. These jackets from Lucien Marcelo that I saw mentioned by Chucky Hollak on Plurk are pretty much what I adore in RL. The folds in the arms are lovely, particularly. I will show more of it soon.
I remember watching young guys at cafes in Bologna when I was a teenager on holiday with my girlfriend of the time. They looked endlessly chic, sipping tiny coffees or as the day wore on switching to Campari. I always aspired to this, but frankly every time I found myself in Italy I was aware that I stood out as the least well-dressed person on the street.

Yeah so instead of the beach, I took pics either falling down to or landed at Goth Fair. I ended up doing a moody version of the top pic too thinking about death. Cheery stuff.
